Paloma
My wife is a saucy tequila wench and when you need to cool that shit down, there’s nothing like a Paloma.
Ingredients:
2 oz tequila - I prefer an anjeo or reposado
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
2 oz sparkling water (topo chico is hard to beat)
½ oz fresh lime juice
¼ oz agave nectar or simple syrup
1 mL Texas Jackalope, Orange, or Tiamat Sipping Bitters
Coarse sea salt, for the rim of the glasses
How the hell:
Rub the rim of your glass with a grapefruit wedge and dip into a saucer filled with salt. If you have trouble with this, just give up now.
Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice and agave nectar to the glass. Stir and ensure the agave is incorporated
Fill with ice and top off with sparkling water to the rim, garnish with grapefruit or some equally impressive b.s.
